Mental Health Yoga

In this 60 min yoga class with Mental Health yoga class, students gain understanding of mental health concerns and how it shows up in their bodies on a day to day level. Emphasis is placed on embodying practice based solutions such as: yoga, meditation, EFT/Tapping, breathwork, and affirmations to help students effectively manage their day to day anxiety, depression, PTSD, and stress.

It never goes away but what’s important is learning how to THRIVE despite it.

Mental Health Yoga and Wellness was created and intended for educational purpose in mindfulness, human potential, and consciousness. The yoga teachers in Mental Health Yoga have training in anxiety, depression, and PTSD and is not a licensed therapist, counselor or social worker.

Mental health conditions are physical medical conditions with cognitive and emotional symptoms.  We believe self-knowledge is a human right and offering information to users regarding their own biological processes can form the foundation of a more positive, empowered, and wellness-oriented life. This is a good thing. It helps align with the intent of the program to make the world a better place.

This program does not replace the need to be under a physician’s care as you would for any other physical medical condition.

I just wanted to let you know that this past weekend we were up at the wounded warrior preserve. There were several excellent opportunities for me to have anxiety or a panic attack and I did not.  There was a lot going on including the memorial service for my boss. His family was there. And there were just many many opportunities for me to have anxiety. And I did not! I felt some stress which was perfectly normal. But it never flipped into anxiety. I think it’s Hypnosis!  And I wanted to say thank you thank you thank you thank you!

Honestly, I thought hypnosis would work but I had no idea it would work so quickly. I thought it would be a multi-phased event. I am very surprised at how quickly it worked.
But again I just want to say thank you thank you thank you. I have been worried about this weekend's memorial service since January.  And I’ve had several small freakouts about it but I maintained. I did what I needed to do I did it the way I thought it should be done. And I was 100% fine and you know if you had taken if I had taken a drug or something to avoid the anxiety I would not have been able to have my normal emotions.

So you know if I was glad to see the family it was sad to see the family under the circumstances but I absolutely felt like myself and I thank you thank you thank you!
